"The real waste that is helping the Germans & draining away Britain's strength.

Since the war began, alcohol has wasted:

1. Enough food to last the whole nation 100 days, including enough Grain to make 2000 million quarted loaves of bread and enough sugar to keep the entire British Army supplied.
2. Over 4,000,000 tons of coal.
3. £400,000,000 of the people's money.
4. Man-power equivalent to the entire nation standing idle 100 days.

Help to stop this enormous waste on alcohol until the war is WON."
